I am a keen photographer and wildlife enthusiast. I enjoy travelling, learning about the wildlife I encounter and then sharing my newfound knowledge with others.

The RSPB is the largest conservation charity in the UK, I started working for them in 2019 which has given me an amazing education so far, but there is still so much more I would like to discover.

In 2020 I was diagnosed with cancer, nature helped pull me through the toughest time of my life. Now that I'm in remission, my aim is to use 'Happy-Dave' to promote the beauty and positivity we can all find from nature and life in general.

I'm also a children's author and have published my first book 'Robo Hog a Superhero for Nature', an entertaining, educational, and interactive story book to encourage children to learn more about our wildlife. This is the first in a series of books, each contains a QR code that takes the reader to additional content, photos and video.

I am a Miniature Schnauzer, I enjoy travelling around the UK with my parents, we have lots of fun together. There's always something new to sniff and lots of doggy-friends to meet.

My favourite things are food, food, food, cuddles and adventures.
